Psychological Therapy in South London & Online for Adults

We offer in-person therapy for adults in South London (Clapham). We also offer online therapy to suit your needs.

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem or simply feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change. At InPsych Mind, we offer evidence-based, individualised therapy in a warm, collaborative environment, helping you understand your experiences and work towards meaningful change. We offer an integrative approach to therapy, using a range of evidence-based techniques and approaches to best meet your unique needs.

We also adapt therapy for neurodiverse adults, ensuring that the unique needs of individuals with ADHD, autism, and other neurodiverse profiles are carefully addressed. This may include structured interventions, skill-building exercises, and techniques designed to support executive functioning, social skills, and emotional regulation in a way that respects the neurodiverse experience.

We believe in regularly reviewing your goals and progress to ensure that the therapy remains effective and aligned with your evolving needs. Every six sessions, you will have a dedicated review session to reflect on your therapeutic journey, celebrate successes, and adjust your treatment plan if necessary.

We have specialised questionnaires that we send out to you before sessions, that our therapists can review with you to ensure they are considering all aspects of your life in their care towards you.

  • Our therapeutic approaches

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while developing practical strategies for change. It is especially effective for individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, and stress, and has the highest evidence-base currently amongst other approaches for these conditions. Additionally, tailored CBT techniques have shown positive outcomes for individuals with ADHD and autism by helping to structure thinking and behaviour.
    • Mentalization-Based Therapy (MBT): MBT focuses on enhancing our ability to understand our own mental states and those of others. This approach is particularly helpful for those struggling with relationship difficulties and emotional regulation, fostering healthier interactions and self-awareness.
    • Psychodynamic Therapy: This therapeutic explores unconscious processes and past experiences that may be influencing current behaviour. It is ideal for individuals looking to resolve long-standing emotional challenges, relationship patterns, or past difficult experiences.
    • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): ACT encourages us to accept what is out of our personal control while committing to action that enriches our life, through focusing on our individual values. It is effective for those experiencing anxiety, chronic pain, or stress, helping build resilience and aligning actions with what matters the most to you.

    Who is psychological therapy for?

In a nutshell, everyone! You may be seeking support for anxiety, low mood, stress, burnout, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, perfectionism, emotional regulation or difficulties associated with ADHD or autism. Some people come to therapy because they feel stuck in recurring patterns, are struggling with a major life transition, or want to better understand themselves and their relationships.

Therapy can also be helpful when you are functioning well on the surface but finding things difficult internally. We work collaboratively to understand what is happening, identify what you would like to change, and develop an approach that fits your individual needs and goals.

If you feel like you would benefit from psychological support, we're here to support you. Book a session or contact us to learn more about how therapy can help.

    What you can expect

    • Collaborative Partnership: Therapy is a collaborative process. We will work together to understand what is bringing you to therapy, identify your goals and develop a plan that reflects what you would like to change.
    • Culturally Sensitive, Person-Centred Care: We tailor therapy to your individual circumstances, cultural background, relationships, identity and life experiences, recognising that these can all shape how difficulties develop and how support is experienced.
    • Flexible, Integrative Methods: We draw on a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and adapt our work according to your needs, preferences and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
